Three years ago, Georgia Pastor Onslow Ross was sentenced to 10 years in prison and found guilty of 54 counts of bank fraud, money laundering and various other illegal transactions.
Many of his supporters not only felt that the conviction was wrong, but that 10 year conviction was excessive. Many of the jurors feared for their lives because of the level of support that Ross had from his congregation and the community.
Three years later, his case is still on the lips of the likes of Rev. Al Sharpton and Dr. Boyce Watkins who are protesting to grant him another hearing.
