This week, state representative Alicia Reece sent a letter this week to U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, requesting election monitors to Hamilton County for this year’s election.
In the letter, she raises concerns for the county’s provisional ballot counting. She cites the 2010 juvenile court judge election and the county’s poll worker error as reasons for election monitoring assistance.
In the letter, she explains

In addition to requesting federal monitors, for this year’s election, Reece has also introduced House Bill 76. This bill will require poll workers to complete a verification checklist for each individual voting provisionally, ensuring that poll workers direct voters to their correct voting precinct.
