Congress May Go Forward In Voting Eric Holder In Contempt

    The House Oversight Committee could proceed today, in considering a contempt measure against U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

    That could change if he provides at least some of the documents the committee has sought. These documents are related to “Operation Fast And Furious”, the federal firearms sting operation that allowed weapons to reach mexican drug gangs.

    Elijah Cummings, the democratic ranking member of the committee, called in to the TJMS to talk with Roland Martin about the possible vote. In case you missed the interview, you can listen below.
