Hamilton County Commissioners: No Sales Tax Increase

    Hamilton County commissioners say they won’t raise taxes on residents to meet budget needs.

    The commissioners rejected a sales tax increase yesterday, choosing to make nearly $18 million in cuts for next year. Those include 300 county employees, and reduced services and office hours.
