UC Football Head Coach Butch Jones Leaves For Tennessee

    The University of Cincinnati is once again in search of a new head football coach.

    This morning UC head coach Butch Jones announced his resignation, and has accepted the head coach position at the University of Tennessee. He will replace Derek Dooley, who was fired for his 15-21 record.

    Jones was hired to coach UC football, in 2009 to replace Brian Kelly. In his three seasons, his record was 23-14. He also coached the team to two bowl games.
