Ohio’s Texting While Driving Law is in Effect

    Ohio’s ban on texting while driving is in effect.

    The new law kicked in at midnight, giving police power to ticket people caught using electronic devices behind the wheel.

    It’s a primary offense for young drivers, while those over 18 can be ticketed if they’re stopped for another offense.
