Florida prosecutors will add additional charges to the college band members charged with the hazing death of a fellow drum major.

A state attorney will add a manslaughter charge to the 12 Florida A&M band members accused of the 2011 hazing death of Robert Champion.

The band members were already charged last may of a third-degree felony.

Champion was beaten to death in a hazing ritual in November 2011 on a charter bus, where he was reportedly required to walk to the back of the bus while being punched and beaten with straps.
