Butler County Sheriffs to Begin Daily Patrol of Schools

    A new school safety program is underway in Butler County.

    A sheriff’s office is placing deputies in public schools in its jurisdiction, requiring them to visit schools in their zones at least once a day.

    Sheriff Richard Jones says making deputies more visible will help make students and staff more safe.
