Activist Rev. Jesse Jackson had an unpleasant encounter with a few Ferguson protesters who told the civil rights leader that they hadn’t seen him marching and that they didn’t want him there.

“Are you marching today with us, or are you just gon’ sit in the car?” one of the men said as he confronted Jackson while he sat in a car in a McDonald’s drive-thru. “When you going to stop selling us out, Jesse?” said another protester. “We don’t want you here in St. Louis! When you gon’ stop selling us out, Jesse?”

Though Jackson assured the angry group that he had been marching and had spent time with the Brown family, they refused to retreat.

Watch the encounter below:

Though Jackson was accused of not participating in the protests, he was in Ferguson leading rallies calling for justice for Michael Brown and his family.
